Wednesday (10/4) Gogol Bordello - You guys Gorgol Bordello, American Gypsy punk band from Manhattan, is playing live at Mercury Ballroom tonight! Trust us, they always put on an amazing show. Thursday (10/5) LEO Reader’s Choice Awards - Celebrate the best of the best according to LEO Weekly readers this Thursday at their annual LEO Weekly Readers’ Choice Party. Enjoy tastings from local restaurants, complimentary Coopers’ Craft Bourbon drinks, and live entertainment (fire eaters, jugglers, unicyclists, stilt walkers, aerialists) and live music by BRENDA, the bandTickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

Saturday (10/7) Louisville City FC - Sadly the season is almost over, but even more reason to head out to Louisville Slugger Field this Saturday! Sunday (10/8) South Points Buy Local Fair - Join the Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) at their 2nd Annual South Points Buy Local Fair this Sunday from 12:00 PM -4:00 PM at the Iroquois Amphitheater. The fair will feature South Louisville independent businesses, music, kid’s area, food court, craft beer, local wine, pumpkins and more. Admission and parking are FREE.

Sunday (10/8) Louisville Palace Halloween Movie Series - The Louisville Palace Halloween Movie Series continues this Sunday with Beetlejuice, 80s comedy film directed by Tim Burton starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder. Movie starts at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $8. The movie series continues every Sunday through the month of October. Next on the lineup is Hocus Pocus on October 15th.

Tuesday (10/10) Beats Antique: Shadowbox Tour - Mark your calendars folks. Beats Antique, experimental world fusion and electronic music group, is bringing their Shadowbox Tour to Louisville next week. They’ll be playing live at Mercury Ballroom and they are sure to put on a great show. Tickets start at $20. Show starts at 8:00 PM. We’ll see you there!

Wednesday (10/11) New2Lou Halloween Social - Join us for our Halloween social next Wednesday at the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum. Never been? You’re in for a treat and a FREE tour!
