Wednesday (11/22) Into the Great Wide Open: A Celebration of Tom Petty - An incredible lineup of local artists are coming together tonight at Headliners to celebrate the late great Tom Petty. Artists include Patrick Hallahan, Craig Pfunder, Scott Carney, Mark Cha, Jim James many, many more (too many to mention here). Doors: 8:00 PM, Show: 9:00 PM. Tickets are $15. Hopefully you have some, because the show is sold out.

Friday (11/24) Light up Louisville - The city’s annual celebration launching the holiday season.  Light Up Louisville is a full day of festivities including a 5k run/walk, Lots of Lights Parade, Santa’s Workshop, Holiday in the City, fireworks and Santa Claus himself turns on the holiday lights in downtown Louisville! Also enjoy ice skating at Holiday Square located at 4th and Jefferson through January 2nd.

christmas-tree-laneFriday (11/24) - Saturday (12/24) Christmas Tree Lane at Waterfront Park - Looking for that perfect holiday tree, wreath, or garland? Head down to Waterfront Park to hand select your perfect holiday accessory. They’ll have lots of great tree and greenery selections including Scotch Pine, White Pine, Frazier Fir, Balsam Fir, Douglass Fir, and Spruce varieties from around the region.

Saturday (11/25) Small Business Saturday is this weekend! We all know the benefits of shopping locally, right? Plus you get amazing one-of-a-kind gifts for your someone special. Locally LIBA (the Keep Louisville Weird folks) are running a HoLOUdays contest where you can win $1,000! Contest runs through January 2nd.

Saturday (11/25) Outdoor Hiking - Now that you’ve feasted on delicious Thanksgiving treats, why not spend Saturday hiking in the beautiful outdoors? Our city is full of great hiking trails and a pretty active hiking community too. On the radar this Saturday: Quarter Moon Hike in Berheim Forest and Parklands Lowland Plains Hike in the Parklands of Floyds Fork.

Sunday (11/26) A Musical Tribute to Tina Turner - Who doesn’t love Tina Turner, right? The Sheryl Rouse Band, along with a three-piece horn section, background singers and dancers, are bringing an incredible night of amazing music to Headliners this Sunday night. Enjoy a variety of songs from Tina’s early years through her monstrous career of chart-topping hits. Tickets start at $12. Doors: 7:00 PM, Show: 8:00 PM.

moth stories toldTuesday (11/28) The Moth Storyslam - What’s the Moth? The Moth is a non-profit organization that features people telling true stories from their lives with no notes, power point or cheat sheets.The StorySLAM is The Moth’s wildcard series, welcoming any and all folks to share their five-minute stories onstage at Headliners Music Hall. Why not share your mad storytelling skills? We dare you. This month’s theme is CONTROL. Tickets are $10.

Wednesday (11/29) New2Lou Christmas Carol Social - Mark your calendars for some jolly holiday cheer! Join us for happy hour and a holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, at Actors Theatre! We’ll have special discounted tix (only $25) PLUS happy hour apps + drink specials - win-win! We’ll provide ticket details next week, so stay tuned. Happy hour at the swanky BBC Bourbon Barrel Loft starts at 5:30 PM, show starts at 7:00 PM.

Wednesday (12/6) 98° at Christmas - Mark your calendars folks. 98 degrees, the 90’s pop boy band, are back on tour for the holiday season and will be bringing the heat to the Louisville Palace on Wednesday, December 6th.
