Watch the sunset, bring a picnic, and fly a kite to the soundtrack of nature-inspired compositions. Don’t have a kite? Make one at the KMAC kite building tent! Event is FREE w/ RSVP.

Thursday (7/20) Paint Butchertown Purple! - Join The Coopers, Copper & Kings and the Butchertown Neighborhood Association for this rally for the new Louisville City FC stadium! Mingle with the Coppers and Lou City players. Enjoy music, food and drinks PLUS check out the birds’ eye view of the new stadium location! Event is FREE w/ RSVP.

Thursday (7/20) Rye Back Porch Sessions - Mark your calendar for RYE on Market’s Back Porch Sessions summer music this Thursday night! Grab a friend, a drink, and enjoy live music on RYE’s back porch in NuLu.This month’s featured artists are Twenty First Century Fox and River City Rumble DJs. Saturday (7/22) Patio Movie: Young Frankenstein - Lydia House, a super cool neighborhood joint in Schnitzelburg neighborhood, is hosting a patio movie series this summer. One of all time fav movies, Young Frankenstein, is scheduled for this Saturday. So of course we wanted to share this with you! Event is FREE and movie starts at 9:30 PM. See you there!


Sunday (7/23) 2017 Sundance Film Festival Short Film Tour
- Get a sneak peek of the seven short films selected from this year’s Sundance Film Festival this Sunday at the Speed Art Museum. Films are fiction, documentary and animation from around the world, from laugh-out-loud comedy to contemplative meditations on the world we inhabit. Show starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $7 for members / $9 for non-members.

Wednesday (7/26) WFPK Waterfront Wednesday - FREE summer concert presented by WFPK and Waterfront Development Corporation on the last Wednesday of every month at the Big Four Bridge at Louisville Waterfront Park. Featured artists this month: Strand of Oaks, Low Cut Connie and the Zach Longoria Project. Music starts at 6:00 pm. Free and open to the public.
