First Friday Trolley Hop

Everyone loves Fridays and here’s a little something extra to look forward to tomorrow – First Friday Trolley Hop! What is First Friday Trolley Hop?  Below is the full description on the Louisville Downtown Management District‘s website:

The First Friday Trolley Hop is an art show, tourist attraction, street party and celebration of downtown Louisville that brings new visitors and new life to the Main and Market corridor. The Trolley Hop takes place on the first Friday of each month from 5-11pm, rain or shine. Most of the galleries close around 9 pm but the restaurants, clubs, and shops stay open later. 

Tons of business (art galleries, retail and restaurants) participate and it’s a great reason to get out and explore downtown.  Trolleys operated by the Transit Authority of River City (TARC) run along Main and Market Streets from 5 – 11 pm and are free (yes, free).  So park your car and enjoy the ride.   Below is a map of the trolley route and stops.
