Thursday (10/13) - Sunday (11/6) Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular - The Louisville Jackolantern Spectacular includes over 5,000 professionally carved jack-o-lanterns in themed scenes and set to music along a nearly one-third-mile trail through the woods of Iroquois Park. Carved pumpkins are on display daily from 7:15 pm to 11 pm during the week and midnight on Friday & Saturday. Tickets are $12 for adults, $9 for kids.
Friday (10/14) You’re the Wurst Sausage Party - Ready for an all out sausage party?!? Of course you are! Join the fine folks at Copper & Kings for an Oktoberfest style party featuring handmade sausages inspired by the flavors of Germany. Enjoy sausages (vegetarian options avail), Marzen/Oktoberfest style beer brewed by Monnik Beer Co, plus brandy, beer cocktails and beats! $10 admission includes your first drink.
Friday (10/14) - Sunday (10/16) Startup Weekend Louisville - Bring your idea, skills & determination and see how far you can make it in 54 hours! Startup Weekend brings together designers, programmers, hustlers & anyone else interested in learning how to take an idea and quickly validate it. Learn shortcuts to determine pricing, find those early stage adopters or key connections that you normally couldn’t find or contact. Registration starts at $35.
Sunday (10/16) Louisville Women’s Volleyball - Who doesn’t love to watch the volleyball players crush it and our girls are killer, literally. Cheer on our home team the University of Louisville Cards at they take on the University of North Carolina this Sunday at the KFC Yum! Center. Tickets start at $8 which is a super sweet deal for all this action. Game starts at 1 PM. #GoCards
