FantasticNegritoWednesday (7/29) Waterfront Wednesday - FREE summer concerts presented by WFPK and Waterfront Development Corporation on the last Wednesday of every month. Featured artists this month: Fantastic Negrito, Strand of Oaks, and American Aquarium. Music starts at 6 pm. Free and open to the public.

BestOfLouisvilleThursday (7/30) Best of Louisville - Best of Lou has finally arrived and lucky you tickets are still available. Don’t miss your chance to taste the BEST food and booze from the winners of Louisville Magazine‘s Best of Louisville awards. Plus giveaways, silent auction and dancing at Play Dance Bar! Party starts at 6 pm. Tickets are $30. Dress code: Summer cocktail attire. 

KCYogaSeriesFriday (7/31) Kentucky Center Yoga Series - It’s Yoga Friday! The fine folks at the Kentucky Center are hosting FREE yoga classes every Friday through August 28th from 12– 1 pm.  Bring your mat and water and meet at the Main Lobby by 11:50 for a class of yoga postures, flow, and deep relaxation. A perfect lunch time option for downtown workers.

BicentennialParkSummerConcertSeriesFriday (7/31) New Albany Bicentennial Park Summer Concert Series -  Why not mix it up a bit this Friday and take a trip across the river? Enjoy a FREE outdoor concert at Bicentennial Park in downtown New Albany (Spring Street & Pearl Street) from 6 pm-9 pm. Featured artists this week are Nick Dittmeier, Moonlight Peddlers and the Bad Times Band. The Order of the Phoenix is showing July 31 - August 13, Friday - Sunday. Tickets are $8 Members, $10 Non-Members.

ButchertownGetDownSaturday (8/1) Butchertown Get Down: Purple Rain - The official launch of the Do502 Butchertown Get Down series, a weekly movie-dance party at Play Dance Bar in the Butchertown neighborhood. Each week is themed off of a film and the film’s soundtrack and this week’s theme is Purple RainRSVP for FREE Entry or $10 at the door!

LouisvilleBatsSaturday (8/1) - Sunday (8/2) Louisville Bats - Take me out to the ball game and root, root, root for the home team! A perfect way to wrap up the weekend.
