Missed out on Bourbon 101 last month? No worries, we got your back. We want you, the newbie, to be well educated and armed with bourbon knowledge so we bring you an encore of Bourbon 101! Even if you’re not a newbie and you know a thing or two about bourbon, you’ll learn plenty more, trust us. The class will leave with you a greater appreciation of bourbon and some great new friends as well, cause you know, that’s what we do, connect cool folks like you. Join us on Thursday (2/28) at 6 pm in the speakeasy space above the Silver Dollar, hip honky-tonk bar on historic Frankfort Avenue offering a selection of roughly 70 of Kentucky’s finest bourbon’s and ryes (one of the largest in the city). Yep, that’s why we we love this place and you will too.
The Hawthorne Beverage Group, leaders in the spirits consulting and marketing, will be there to provide you with the a ton of bourbon knowledge, history of bourbon and the distillery process, and great insider tips. Sounds amazing huh? And the best part is this is an interactive course, so that means you get to taste the bourbons, discuss among friends and decide which one is your favorite. All while socializing with the coolest new folks in town. Are you sold yet?
Tickets are $30 per person, purchase tickets here. Space is limited to the first 60 folks that purchase tickets, so get on it. Once you purchase a ticket, we will send you an email containing additional information, but don’t tell anyone, it’s a secret. Also be prepared to walk away with some awesome bourbon swag too, cause we’re cool like that.
Following the event, we’ll head downstairs to our own reserved section at the whiskey bar to test out our mad, new bourbon skills. It will be just like our awesome 2nd Wed Socials, but maybe a little better, because you’ll be all warm and fuzzy from the bourbon and you’ll have a group of new found friends to share your experience with. We’ll have drink specials, of course bourbon will be at the top of the list, light bites and an awesome photographer to capture all the fun with your new bff.
