Wednesday (3/22) Music Without Borders - Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra offer music by each section of the orchestra. There are amazing works for wind orchestras and glorious pieces for string bands. A piece for the brass section is sure to show-off the heroics of the trumpets and trombones. Tickets are $20. Thursday (3/23) Jazz Live at Lola - It’s Thursday so you know what that means…91.9 WFPK jazz night at Lola, Butchertown Grocery’s speakeasy-style upstairs lounge! And luck you, these awesome concerts are held every Thursday from 7:30 until 10 p.m. The series continues March 23rd with Craig Tweddell’s Sextet. Admission is FREE!
Friday (3/24) Blue Sky Mining Brandy Launch Party - Join Copper & Kings for the release of their limited edition artisanal 7-year-old pure Muscat Brandy – Blue Sky Mining. Saturday (3/25) NuLu 2nd Annual BockFest - What the Bock?!? The NuLu Bock Fest will be a day full of great traditions, beer and fun! The Moth is a non-profit organization that features people telling true stories from their lives with no notes, power point or cheat sheets.The StorySLAM is The Moth’s wildcard series, welcoming any and all folks to share their five-minute stories onstage at Headliners Music Hall. Friday (3/31) The Prince Experience - Sadly we lost Prince in 2016, but his music lives on in our hearts and on the Mercury Ballroom stage at the end of this month!
