Thursday (10/5) LEO Reader’s Choice Awards - Celebrate the best of the best according to LEO Weekly readers this Thursday at their annual LEO Weekly Readers’ Choice Party. Enjoy tastings from local restaurants, complimentary Coopers’ Craft Bourbon drinks, and live entertainment (fire eaters, jugglers, unicyclists, stilt walkers, aerialists) and live music by BRENDA, the band. The fair will feature South Louisville independent businesses, music, kid’s area, food court, craft beer, local wine, pumpkins and more. Admission and parking are FREE.
Sunday (10/8) Louisville Palace Halloween Movie Series - The Louisville Palace Halloween Movie Series continues this Sunday with Beetlejuice, 80s comedy film directed by Tim Burton starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder. Movie starts at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $8. The movie series continues every Sunday through the month of October. Next on the lineup is Hocus Pocus on October 15th.
