THE Red Bull Flugtag is finally here! We are one of only 2 cities in the US competing this year, a HUGE deal! So grab your friends, co-workers, BFF and head to Waterfront Park this Saturday to watch people from around the country attempt to break the world record by launching themselves off a huge ramp, in a man-made flying (or not) machine, and soaring (or crashing) into the Ohio River. Either way it’s sure to be a big splash!

Now - Sunday (8/28) Kentucky State Fair - Last chance to head to the Kentucky State Fair! Folks come to town from all over the region to showcase the best of the best: animals, dance, food, you name it. Enjoy great people watching and music concerts including Reba McEntire, Jeff Dunham, Chris Young and Brett Eldredge. Tickets in advance are $6; admission at the gate is $10. Kids 5 and under are free.
Wednesday (8/24) An Evening of Music and Comedy with Creed Bratton from the Office - The hilarious and talented Creed Bratton from the Office is coming to Louisville and it sure to put on a great show! Not only is he a great comedian, but also a musician and lucky us he’s bringing both talents to Headliners Music Hall tonight! Tickets are $20 in advance and show starts at 8 PM.
Thursday (8/25) Ben Rector: The Biggest Tour I Have Done So Far - Ben Rector, American musician based in Nashville, Tennessee, is finally here and will be putting on a great show, his biggest so far, this Thursday at the Louisville Palace! Never been to the Palace?!? We’re here to help! Not only do we introduce you to cool folks, but also cool places like this too! Didn’t win tickets? Friday (8/26) Boogie Nights: The Ultimate 70s & 80s Ladies’ Night Disco Party - DYK 90% of the world’s disco balls are made right here in Louisville? AND in the near future we’ll also be home to the World’s largest disco ball! What better way to celebrate than with a kick ass Disco Party! Saturday (8/27) Red Bull Flugtag - THE Red Bull Flugtag is finally here and making a big splash in the Ohio River this Saturday! Red Bull Flugtag, or “Flying Day,” challenges those bold, brash, and crazy enough to launch human-powered flying machines off a 30-foot ramp into the Ohio River. Come watch all the action on the waterfront starting at 11 am for FREE! We’ll see you there!
Sunday (8/28) Chris Young - Calling all country fans! Chris Young and Brett Eldredge are closing up this year’s Kentucky State Fair with a kickin’ performance! Grab your boots, your BFF and head down to Freedom Hall this Sunday night. Tickets start at $48 and VIP tickets are available for $77. Show starts at 7 PM. Feeling adventurous? Head down early and catch the last day of the fair before the show.
