Wednesday (8/31) 3 Doors Down - US and the Night Tour 2016 - 3 Doors Down, American rock band from Escatawpa, Mississippi, is finally here and will be putting a killer show at the Louisville Palace tonight! Never been to the Palace?!? We’re here to help! Not only do we introduce you to cool folks, but also cool places like this too! Didn’t win tickets? Lucky you, tickets are still available and start at $29.50.

Wednesday (8/31) WFPK Waterfront Wednesday - Free summer concerts presented by WFPK and Waterfront Development Corporation on the last Wednesday of every month. Featured artists this month: Dr. Dundiff and Friends, The Bright Light Social Hour, and Bonnie Bishop. Music starts at 6 pm. Free and open to the public.

Thursday (9/1) UofL Vs. Charlotte - Football fan?!? Head down to Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium to cheer on the home team, the University of Louisville Cardinals! They will be kicking off against Charlotte this Thursday night. Grab some friends, arrive early to tailgate, and don’t forget to wear red. The parking lots open at 2 PM, stadium opens at 5:30 PM and game kicks off at 7 PM. #gocards

Friday (9/2) - Sunday (9/4) Flea Off Market - monthly outdoor bazaar in Nulu, on Baxter between Market and Jefferson Street. The “buy local”/”keep it weird” ethic is strong in Louisville and especially at The Flea Off Market, a great place for shopping, eating & drinking, or just hanging out. Over 100 local vendors, food trucks, drinks, entertainment and more!

Friday (9/2) - Monday (9/5) WorldFest - Celebrate the 14th anniversary of one of the region’s largest international festivals this holiday weekend! Enjoy four days of expanded world food, music, dance, culture and education on the Belvedere in downtown Louisville. Admission to free all four days of Labor Day weekend. Hours: Fri-Sun 11 AM - 11 PM; Mon 11 AM - 7 PM.

Saturday (9/3) Fleur de Flea Vintage Urban Market - Fleur de Flea Vintage Urban Flea Market is a quirky local market full of antiques, uniques, food vendors, local non-profits, and more. Over 125 vendors from all over the South will peddle their awesome items this weekend at Festival Plaza in Waterfront Park. The market runs from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. FREE and open to the public.

Sunday (9/4) Louisville Bats - Take me out to the ball game and root, root, root for the home team! A perfect way to wrap up the weekend. Grab a friend and watch the bats square off against their rivals, the Indianapolis Indians, at Louisville Slugger Field! Game starts at 6:35 pm and tickets start at $12.

Monday (9/5) Mayor’s Hike, Bike & Paddle - Plans for Labor day? You do now! Join the free family friendly Healthy Hometown event organized by the Mayor himself, NBD. To participate you can hike, bike, or paddle, your choice! And it doesn’t stop there is yoga, Tai Chi, and pickle ball too! Wednesday (9/14) New2Lou 2nd Wed Social - Mark your calendars folks to get social with the coolest newbies in town. This month we will be taking the party to the Highlands at the brand new brewery HopCat! Event is FREE with RSVP and open to the public, event if you are “Old2Lou” or “ReNew2Lou”.
