Wednesday (8/30) Waterfront Wednesday - What’s Waterfront Wednesday? Only the greatest thing ever. Free summer concerts presented by WFPK and Waterfront Development Corporation on the last Wednesday of every month. Featured artists this month: Iron & Wine, James Lindsey, and In Lighting. Thursday (8/31) Louisville Bats - Take me out to the ball game and root, root, root for the home team! Going to a Louisville Bats game is the perfect way to kick-start the 3-day holiday weekend. Grab a friend and cheers on the bats as they square off against their rivals, the Indianapolis Indians, at Louisville Slugger Field this Thursday night! Game starts at 7:05 pm and tickets start at $12.
Friday (9/1) - Monday (9/4) WorldFest - Celebrate the 15th anniversary of one of the region’s largest international festival this holiday weekend! Saturday (9/2) Louisville City FC - This holiday week is jam-packed full of action and no one else in the city has more action than the Louisville City Football Club! Saturday (9/2) Fleur de Flea Vintage Urban Market - Fleur de Flea Vintage Urban Flea Market is a quirky local market full of antiques, uniques, food vendors, local non-profits, and more. Over 125 vendors from all over the South will peddle their awesome items this weekend at Festival Plaza in Waterfront Park. The market runs from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. FREE and open to the public.
Saturday (9/2) - Sunday (9/3) Kentucky Music and Bourbon Festival - Two-night celebration of all things Kentucky —> bourbon, BBQ and bluegrass.
