Now - Friday (10/2) Idea Festival - Idea Festival is finally here! What’s Idea Festival? A 3-day event at the Kentucky Center celebrating innovation, imagination and world-changing ideas. Wednesday (9/30) Waterfront Wednesday - Free summer concerts presented by WFPK and Waterfront Development Corporation on the last Wednesday of every month. Featured artists this month: Wax Fang, Here We Go Magic, and Vandaveer. Music starts at 6 pm. Free and open to the public.
Thursday (10/1) - Sunday (10/4) IF Film - Film screenings over four days as a part of IdeaFestival 2015. Festival activities include film screenings, Q&A’s with filmmakers and actors, live music, and a filmmaker reception. General admission tickets are $12, festival passes are $95.
Friday (10/2) First Friday Hop -Free event on the first Friday of every month in historic West Main district and trendy NuLu District. Hop on any ZeroBus for a FREE ride to 50+ unique boutiques, artists, and restaurants along the First Friday Hop route from 5-11 pm.
Friday (10/2) - Sunday (10/4) St. James Art Show - 59th annual art show held the first weekend in October in the heart of historic Old Louisville. Over 750 exhibitors and voted best art show in the nation by the trade journal Sunshine Artist in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2009 & 2010. Sign up to Volunteer.
Saturday (10/3) Louder Than Life Festival - 2nd Annual festival focused on “music, whiskey, gourmet man food”, not sure what that last one is.
