Thursday (10/19) Rye Back Porch Sessions - Mark your calendars for RYE on Market’s last Back Porch Session of the season this Thursday night. Grab a friend, a drink, and enjoy live music on RYE’s back porch in NuLu.This month’s featured artists are James Lindsey and JP Source. FREE to attend. Food & Drinks start at 5:00 PM, music starts at 7:00 PM. Non-Profit beneficiary is the Louisville Orchestra.
Friday (10/20) Patio Movie: Donnie Darko - Lydia House, a super cool neighborhood joint in the Schnitzelburg neighborhood, hosts a number of cool events on their patio including movie night. This Friday night they’ll be showing Donnie Darko, the 2001 science fiction film about a troubled teenager plagued by visions of a man in a large rabbit suit who manipulates him to commit a series of crimes. FREE event. Movie starts at 9:30 PM.
Saturday (10/21) Kings of Leon - The Grammy Award-winning artists Kings of Leon just kicked the third leg of the Walls Tour and will performing live with Dawes to the KFC Yum! Center this Saturday! Saturday (10/21) Louisville Mini Maker Faire - Makers from around the region will gathering at 4th Street Live! this Saturday for the Louisville Mini Maker Faire and you’re invited! Mingle with Makers, Crafters, Inventors, Evil Geniuses, Scientists and Artists at this family friendly event. The family friendly portion of our Maker Faire will be from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, adult-oriented activities run from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. FREE w/ RSVP.
Sunday (10/22) Louisville Palace Halloween Movie Series - The Louisville Palace Halloween Movie Series continues this Sunday with The Haunted Mansion, 2003 comedy hour movie based on the Disney theme park attraction starring Eddie Murphy. Movie starts at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $8. The movie series continues every Sunday through the month of October. Next on the lineup is Young Frankenstein on October 29th.
