Now - Saturday (5/21) 21st Annual Festival of Faiths - What is Festival of Faiths? A five-day festival of music, poetry, film, art and dialogue with internationally renowned spiritual leaders, thinkers and practitioners. And the best news? It’s right here in Lou, Actor’s Theatre to be exact! Locations are Tickets are still available. Week passes (access to all events and sessions) are $247.50 and day passes are $25-$100.
Wednesday (5/18) Louisville Bats Vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders - Take me out to the ball game and root, root, root for the home team! A Louisville Bats game is the perfect hump day get away. Grab a friend and watch the bats square off against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders at Louisville Slugger Field! The game starts at 6:35 pm and tickets start at $12.
Thursday (5/19) Rye Back Porch Sessions - Rye on Market is kicking off their first Back Porch Session of the season on you guessed it, the back porch. Grab a friend, a drink, and enjoy live music in NuLu. This month’s featured artists are Adam & Sarah from Murder by Death, Justin Paul Lewis, and Cereal Glyphs. FREE to attend, but RSVP required. Music starts at 7 pm.
Friday (5/20) - Saturday (5/21) Old Louisville SpringFest - 5Th Annual Old Louisville SpringFest located in the heart of historic Old Louisville. Two days of live, local entertainment, food trucks, bourbon slushies and 150-200 local vendors. The festival runs Friday, May 20th from noon to 9pm and Saturday May 21st from 10am to 9pm. FREE and open to the public.
Friday (5/20) Card Under the Stars - Star Wars: The Force Awakens - The force is strong at U of L’s Cards Under the Stars movie series! This week is Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Food is available from Holy Mole, Lil Cheezers, and Sweet and Savory food trucks. BYO lawn chairs, coolers, and blankets. Event kicks off at 6:30 pm, film starts at sunset.
Saturday (5/21) Forest Fest - Why not spend your Saturday in the forest with friends, food and great music?!? This full day festival kicks off at 10:30 am at Jefferson Memorial Forest and wraps up at 7 pm. Musicians include Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Ben Sollee, The 23 String Band, Blue Belles, Blue River and Maiden Radio. Also enjoy food trucks, local craft vendors, workshops and more! Event is FREE, parking is $10.
“Sunday (5/22) 8th Annual Buy Local Fair - Help Keep Louisville Weird and celebrate all things local at the 8th Annual Buy Local Fair at the Louisville Water Tower from noon-6 pm. Over 200 local vendors, live entertainment, cooking competition, craft beer and bourbon, and a rockin’ kids zone. Free and open to the public. $5 parking. Free bicycle valet.

Wednesday (5/25) WFPK Waterfront Wednesday - FREE summer concerts presented by WFPK and Waterfront Development Corporation on the last Wednesday of every month at the Big Four Bridge at Louisville Waterfront Park. Featured artists this month: Paul Thorn, The Howling Tongues, and Nick Dittmeier & the Sawdusters. Music starts at 6 pm. Free and open to the public.
