Wednesday (7/6) Chris Cornell - We are soooooo pumped for this concert tonight and already have tickets in hand! The legendary grudge artist Chris Cornell, from Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, and his more recent solo career is coming the Lousville Palace! Tickets are still available and start at $49.50. Concert starts at 7:30 pm. We’ll see you there!
Thursday (7/7) 2016 Best of Louisville - Don’t miss your chance to taste the BEST food and booze from the winners of Louisville Magazine‘s Best of Louisville awards. Food and booze tastings included with ticket purchase, and a cash bar is available for additional drinks. Party runs from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Kentucky Center. Tickets are $50.
Friday (7/8) Foxhollow Farm Sunset Concert Series - Spend this Friday evening under the stars at the Foxhollow Farm concert series. This month’s featured artists are the Moonlight Peddlers and the Hart Strings. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. The show starts at 6:00 PM. The series continues on the 2nd Friday of every month through September.
Friday (7/8) Romeo and Juliet - Want to really impress your date? Take them to the most romantic stories of all time at Kentucky Shakespeare’s Annual Shakespeare in the Park! Enjoy Shakespeare in beautiful Old Louisville’s Central Park. Food and drinks available for purchase. Pre-show at 7:15 pm, performance starts at 8 pm. Free and open to the public. Show runs through the end of July.
Friday (7/8) - Sunday (7/10) Poorcastle Festival 2016 - Three full days filled with great local music. What’s with the name? Forecastle Festival is next weekend and the tickets are a little pricy, so a few local folks decided to host Poorcastle Festival for “rest of us”. Daily tickets are only $5; a weekend pass is $10. Saturday (7/9) Cirquelouis Presents A Midsummer Night’s Circus -Based on William Shakespeare’s most popular comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Circus follows four lovers and a group of amateur entertainers into the magical world of a Big Top. This circus-within-a-circus spectacle features acrobats on the stage and in the air as well as live music by Aby Laby Land. Tickets start at $12. Show starts at 7 pm.

Monday (7/11) Summer Movie Night - It’s Monday night, so you know what that means….summer movie night at Iroquois Amphitheater! Featured movie this week is the 2015 high-octane thriller, San Andreas Fault! Doors open at 7 pm, movie starts at 8 pm. FREE and open to the public. Seating first come, first serve.
Wednesday (7/13) New2Lou July Beer Social - Mark your calendars for our July 2nd Wed social. We’ll be partying it up across the bridge at Flat 12 Bierworks in Jeffersonville! Feeling adventurous? Talk a walk across the Big Four Bridge. It’s only a couple of miles and will give you the opportunity to work up an appetite and work off the beer. Event is FREE w/ RSVP!
Thursday (7/14) Maxwell - A little early notice, but we certainly don’t want you to miss out of this great show!
