Now - Saturday (6/27) Resurfaced: Bourbon Edition - Resurfaced officially re-launched last weekend and continues the party with a series of bourbon-inspired events. Sadly the famous pop-up plaza will only be open for the limited time, through June 27. But lucky you we’re throwing a private New2Lou party on Wed (6/10) and there are a ton of other great events on the lineup this month! More info at resurfaced.org.
Wednesday (6/10) New2Lou 2nd Wed Social - It’s time again to mix and mingle with the coolest newbies in town. Join us for an evening filled with good times, good folks, and BOURBON! We’ll be hanging at the brand new Re-New2Lou, Re-Bourbonized Resurfaced. Event is FREE, but RSVP required. RSVP today to reserve your spot!
Thursday (6/11) - Sunday (6/14) Bonnaroo 2015 - Ok, Ok, so this isn’t a Louisville event, but it’s super close and its a Kick Ass festival. Headliners include Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine, My Morning Jacket, Alabama Shakes, Robert Plant, and many, many more. Tickets are $324.50 + fees.
Thursday (6/11) Resurfaced Movie Night - Join the Louisville Film Society this Thursday at ReSurfaced for an outdoor brew and view. Featured film is Rear Window, the classic American mystery thriller. Food by Troll Pub and drinks (bourbon, beer, wine and non-alcoholic) available for purchase. Resurfaced opens at 5 pm, movie starts at 9:15 pm. FREE and open to the public.
Friday (6/12) Creative Mornings: Revolution with Kentucky Kicks Ass - Creative Mornings is a relatively new org here in Louisville whose goal is to foster our creative community. They host FREE morning events and this month it will be at Resurfaced and they are bringing in the brilliant marketers behind the Kentucky KicksAss campaign. So you know it will Kick Ass.
Friday (6/12) Whiskey Chicks - Are you a lady who loves whiskey and meeting cool chicks who share your love? Then KY Whisky Chicks is your perfect match. Even if you are not a whiskey connoisseur, you can learn from those that are in the know. Join these cool chicks this Friday at Resurfaced 5 - 7 pm. FREE and open to the public.
Friday (6/12) - Sunday (6/14) Louisville’s Greek Festival - Weekend filled with you guessed it, all things Greek. Greek food, beer, wine & beverages with live Greek music, dancing and entertainment. Greek pastries and desserts, souvenir and gift shops are available along with fun activities for kids. Friday & Saturday 11 am - 10 pm. Sunday 12 pm - 6 pm. Admission is $2.
Saturday (6/13) Downs After Dark - Mark your calendars folks for the return of Downs After Dark! Churchill Downs is kicking it off by throwing an all out White Party with Stella Artois & Finlandia Vodka! Grab a cocktail, listen to live music, and watch racing under the lights from 7 - 11 pm. It’s the place to see and be seen, so dress to impress!
