BeerWithAScientistWednesday (6/15) Beer with a Scientist - Head to Against the Grain tonight for the popular Beer with a Scientist monthly series with Louisville Underground Science. This month Dr. John Wise from the UofL Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, will discuss research on Moby Dick’s descendants inform us about global pollution problems.  Events starts at 8 pm and it will be a whale of a tale!

EnterpriseCorpEveningOfEntrepreneurshipThursday (6/16) EnterpriseCorp’s Evening of Entrepreneurship - Want to meet the who’s who of the local startup scene? EnterpriseCorp, the entrepreneurial arm of Greater Louisville Inc (GLI), will be hosting an evening to celebrate Louisville’s progress on building a sustainable, innovative community for entrepreneurs. Keynote speaker is Steve Case, co-founder of internet giant America Online. Tickets are $35. Event starts at 5 pm.

MegaBiteThursday (6/16) MegaBITE - Hungry for knowledge? Explore culinary arts and sciences with samples from local chefs and our own gastronomical experiments this Thursday at the Kentucky Science Center from 6- 10 pm. Tickets are $20 for Members, $25 for Non-Members. KentuckianaPrideFriday (6/17) - Saturday (6/18) Kentuckiana Pride Festival - Join the two-day celebration with the LGBT community and its allies this weekend at the Belvedere in downtown Louisville. The festival kicks off with a parade down Main Street from 7 to 9 pm and there will be a variety of food, entertainment, and showcases from local and regional businesses and organizations. Weekend general admission is $10 and VIP passes start at $60.

DownsAfterDarkSaturday (6/18) Downs After Dark - Downs after Dark is back and we couldn’t be more excited! Enjoy a fun night at Churchill Downs with live music, drinks, good friends, and of course racing! General Admission tickets are $10, reserved seating starting at $25, and dining options start at $69. Can’t make it this Saturday, don’t worry. Downs after dark continues Downs after dark continues on July 2nd and September 24th!

LOU-Fathers-DaySunday (6/19) Father’s Day - Heads up folks, it’s Father’s day this Sunday so you have a couple more days to make some plans and we’re here to help. Why not celebrate and shower your father Kentucky-style with love, food, and bourbon! Thanks to the fine folks at Do502, here’s a list of great things to do, places to go, where to shop, eat and drink to celebrate all the dads out there!
