Wednesday (12/18) WFPK Winter Wednesday - Winter music series that runs once every month through February at the Clifton Center. Musicians this month are Tony Joe White and K.S. Rhoads. Music starts at 7:30 pm, doors open at 6:30 pm. Free and open to the public.
Thursday (12/19) - Monday (12/23) Christmas Carol - the last chance to see the holiday classic A Christmas Carol at Actors Theatre of Louisville. Grab your family and friends and watch the characters Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future come to life on the stage. The perfect way to get you in the holiday “spirit”.
Friday (12/20) - Sunday (12/22) Brown-Forman Nutcracker - last chance to catch a wonderful holiday tradition, the Nutcracker, performed by the Louisville Ballet at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are still available and start at $30.
Saturday (12/21) Louisville’s SantaCon - jolly tour starts at 2 pm and ends at the North Pole Holiday Extravaganza, where you can compete in The Santa Olympics, enjoy delicious yuletide inspired cookies and cap off the ho-ho-ho-down on the dance floor. Location will be announced on the evening of the 20th on the Facebook event page.$15 suggested donation.
Saturday (12/21) 5th Annual Ugly Sweater Jingle Ball - Celebrate your horrible Christmas fashion sense and help spread some holiday cheer! Party starts at 9 pm. Live music and door prizes. $5 cover. All proceeds for this event are used to buy toys and donated to Kosair Charities on Christmas morning.
