CosaSeriaThursday (1/16) Salsa Thursdays with Cosa Seria - Louisville’s favorite and longest running Live Salsa night every Thursday at Skybar. Live salsa music by Cosa Seria featuring DJ Frank. Intermediate salsa lessons start at 7:30 pm, advanced beginner at 8:15 pm and beginner at 9 pm. Admission is $7, $10 with class included.

LouisvillePalaceWeddingShowFriday (1/17) Louisville Palace Wedding Show - Getting hitched soon? Then be sure to check out the Louisville Palace Wedding Show. And this ain’t no traditional show, there will be live music, groom’s lounge, prize giveaways and of course wedding vendors too. 6-10 pm. FREE admission. Register today!

TruckinAintEasyFriday (1/17) 2nd Annual Truckin’ Ain’t Easy - Foodtrucks GrindHoly Mole and Lil Cheezers all in one place, Apocalypse Brew Works, 5 - 10 pm. It might snow, but they’ll have fire pits, heaters and free s’mores, plus delicious beer, music and awesome specials. Dress warm and bring a “friend” to snuggle up with.

DiscountGuns2Saturday (1/18) Discount Guns w/ Kentucky Knife Fight - local rockers Discount Guns and Kentucky Knife Fight will be rockin it out at Zanzabar, one of the locals favorite music venues, this Saturday. Doors open at 8 pm, show starts at 9 pm. Tickets are $8. 21+ show.

KeepersoftheDreamSunday (1/19) Keepers of the Dream - Louisville’s freedom award hosted by the Kentucky Center ArtsReachLouisville Metro, Louisville Central Community Centers and River City Drum Corp. Programing starts at 5 pm with pre-show activities in the lobby from 4-4:45 pm. Free and open to the public.

KeeptheDreamAliveMonday (1/20) Martin Luther King Jr. Day - The Ali Center is open and celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr Day. View King’s “I Have a Dream” speech in the Muhammad Ali Center Auditorium every hour on the hour starting at 10 am. Screenings are free and open to the public. Regular admission prices to access Ali Center exhibits.

woodbrothersWednesday (1/22) WFPK Winter Wednesday - Winter music series that runs once every month through February at the Clifton Center.  Musicians this month are The Wood Brothers and Small Time Napoleon. Music starts at 7:30 pm, doors open at 6:30 pm. Free and open to the public.

NationalPieDayThursday (1/23) National Pie Day - Yes, this is a thing and of course we are down to celebrate. Who doesn’t love pie, right? Louisville Stoneware is offering deals on pie dishes now through January 23rd. And we also recommend you get out and grab a slice at one of these fine establishments: Sweet Surrender, Comfy Cow and Homemade Pie Kitchen.
