It’s time again to eat, drink, and be social! Join us at our New2Lou 2nd Wed Social tonight at the Kentucky Center. Thanks to our partner the Kentucky Center and sponsors Louisville Downtown PartnershipKentucky Opera and Mercury Ballroom, we’ll be giving away the some sweet prizes! This month we’ll be at the Kentucky Center, home to many of the city’s major arts organizations. Never been to the Kentucky Center? We’re here to help. 502LunchWeekNow through September 20 502 Lunch Week - 502 Lunch Week kicks off this week and runs through September 20th. Diners pay just $10 or $15 for a 2-course meal which includes a beverage. Now that’s a sweet deal! Participating restaurants are listed on the website. So who wants to grab lunch this week?

Lou_Bucket_ListThursday (9/11) Louisville Bucket List - We’re teaming up with Yelp Louisville to bring you the Louisville Bucket List, Derby City dos for those new and old 2 Lou. Next on the List: Bourbon 101 at Evan Williams Bourbon Experience. A must for any resident in bourbon county. Event is free and open to the public. RSVP on the Yelp page.

DraculaFriday (9/12) Fifth Third Bank’s Dracula - kick off the Halloween season early by catching Dracula opening night at Actors Theatre! The show runs through October 31st and tickets start at $45. Season passes are available and the season is just kicking off with a ton of great shows. Passes are 50% off for patrons age 35.

LCBWFriday (9/12) - Sunday (9/21) Louisville Craft Beer Week - Most folks think of bourbon when it comes to Kentucky, but our beer scene is gaining some serious street cred. Enjoy a full five days of anything and everything beer! Full lineup of events on the website. Cheers!

HighlandsFestivalSaturday (9/13) Highland Fest - free local street festival with live music, art, and craft vendors from 1 pm - 11 pm on the 900 Block of Baxter Ave. An annual tradition celebrating 10 years this year! Kids of all ages welcome with a little something for everyone from inflatable obstacle course to beer gardens!

LouisvilleDragonBoatFestivalSaturday (9/13) Louisville Dragon Boat Festival - Louisville’s 1st Annual Dragon Boat Race is this Saturday at Waterfront Park! New2 Dragon Boat Racing? No worries! Training is provided to all registered teams. You can register as a team or as an individual. Or simply head down to the park and watch on the action from the land.

ChicagoSunday (9/14) ChicagoCenterStage at the JCC presents the Broadway hit musical Chicago, a scandalous story of murder, greed, and corruption. There are two shows on Sunday, 2 pm and 7 pm.
