Wednesday (2/24) D’Oh Nut. Beer Release - Donuts and Beer, need we say more? But we’re going to, only because you need to know where and when, right? Here’s the deets: Against the Grain teamed up with Hi-Five doughnuts to craft something some sweet brew. Pair it with a vanilla custard masterpiece with root beer glaze topped with bacon and game over. Party (in your mouth) starts at 6 pm.
Thursday (2/25) 40th Humana Festival Kickoff - Humana Festival is turning the big 4-0 and 40 sure looks good on her 😉 Join Actors Theatre at they officially kickoff the Humana Festival, an annual festival launching new plays into the national spotlight March 2nd through April 10th. Friday (2/26) Masquerade in the Faces Lobby - Join Louisville Magazine and louisville.com for a night of masks, music, mystery and magic. Saturday (2/27) 4th Annual Gravy Cup - Just like chili, hot wings and BBQ, everyone thinks their gravy is the BEST! Here’s your chance to judge top chefs and homemakers in Lou. Tickets are $12 and proceeds benefit Boys and Girls Haven. The Dimestore Dandy will be performing Dixie and Ragtime music as well. Party starts at 11 am.
Sunday (2/28) U of L Women’s Basketball - If you caught the Lady Cards basketball game at our recent New2Lou Basketball Social, you know these girls can bring it. Watch them take on the Miami Hurricanes this Sunday at the KFC Yum! Center. Game starts at 5 pm and tickets are $10. And this Sunday is Star Wars themed, so come dressed to impress and may the force be with you!
Sunday (2/28) 2016 LFS Oscar Watch Party - The Louisville Film Society is hosting their Annual Oscar Party Fundraiser at Copper and Kings Distillery this Sunday at 7 pm. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvre, dessert stations, Hollywood-inspired libations, silent auction and door prizes! Tickets are $100 each and include a one-year LFS membership and $75 each for current LFS members.
