Wednesday (7/9) New2Lou 2nd Wed Social - Ready to mix and mingle with the coolest new folks in town? We’ll see you tonight at Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, the brand new distillery/museum in downtown Louisville and first official stop in Louisville on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We’ll be in the private speakeasy space and we’ll be giving away some sweet prizes. We’ll give you a hint…bourbon.

Thursday (7/10) Louisville Bucket List - We’re teaming up with Yelp Louisville to bring you the Louisville Bucket List, Derby City must dos for those both new and old 2 Lou. What’s next on the list? Attend a Louisville Bats game! $1 Budweiser Beer Happy Hour from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., plus live music on the Overlook Deck. No brainer. RSVP on the Yelp page.

Friday (7/11) Copper & Kings Non-Official Soft Opening - You heard about the newest distillery addition to Louisville, right? Bourbon country is getting a little sweeter with American Brandy! Copper & Kings is opening their doors to the public for sneak peek preview with tours, music, food and fancy cocktails this Friday night. And the best news? Tickets are only $5!

Friday (7/11) - Saturday (7/12) 13th Annual Lebowski Fest - Celebrate all things Lebowski in one awesome weekend.  White Russians, bowling, costume contest, massive movie screening of what else, The Big Lebowski.  Full weekend packed with a ton of eventsTickets are still available, so get on it, man.

Friday (7/11) - Sunday (7/13) Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival - A full weekend packed with blues, brews, BBQ, and bourbon at the Louisville Water Tower. Full schedule of events on the website. Admission: $10 before 6pm, $14 after 6pm. Lawn chairs and blankets welcome.

Sunday (7/13) Rick Springfield - Raise your hand if you wish you had (or were) Jesse’s Girl! Now it’s playing in the head isn’t it? What better way to wrap of the weekend, than Rick Springfield at the iconic Louisville Palace? Am I right, or am I right? And lucky you, tickets still available.

Insider Louisville of course! Join the weekly meetup this Monday at Morton’s to learn all about the future of GLI (aka Louisville Chamber of Commerse) straight from the horses mouth, the brand new CEO. Free and open to the public. Thursday (7/19) Third ThursdayLifestyle SeriesNew2 to us (and so glad we heard about this) is the Third Thursday Lifestyle Series at Louisville Stoneware. This month Three Toads Farm will be demonstrating how to pot succulents and who doesn’t love succulents, right? Open and free to the public with complimentary hors d’oeuvres!

Friday (7/20) - Sunday (7/22) Forecastle Festival - Three-day music, art, and environmental activism festival right here in our own backyard. Big names this year: Outkast, Jack White, Beck, Band of Horses, and more! Tickets still available.
